This time of year marks many changes for staff and students at LDSS. A number of students are completing final assessments and then leaving on a path to college, university or the world of work. It also marks a time when some staff are leaving and this year is no different. There are a number of teachers who are heading off to new adventures. Whether it be working at the Board Office, heading overseas to teach, going on maternity leave or moving to a new school, these teachers are all embarking on a new experience: Mr. Mitchell; Ms. Bruggemann; Mr. Urosevic; Ms. Snell; Ms. Emmrich; Mrs. Coghlin; Mrs. Hushen; Mr. Roes; Mrs. Gerber; Ms. Weir and Mrs. vanLeeuwen.
As one of the staff who is leaving, I would like to thank the staff and students at LDSS for the amazing experiences that have come from being a part of the LDSS community. I have had the pleasure of watching numerous students grow, change and become truly amazing citizens!I wish you all the best in the summer and the upcoming school year. Thank you for the memories!
